The project goes along with the school’s efforts of providing its students with a good level of education and training, in order to ensure a continuous and relevant school course to enable students to access higher levels of education, despite social and economic constraints that generate dropout. The unsatisfactory results of a significant number of pupils, proving low competence in functional literacy, a school environment marked by anti-social deeds (maily bullying), as well as the lack of solid European partnerships in the field of education generated the school’s interest in accessing the Erasmus +t training opportunities, with a view to improve the quality of teaching and ensure real learning progress for pupils.
The aim of the project is to improve the professional competences of 11 teachers through European training in order to perform motivating and efficient teaching practices for all pupils, to improve their school results in functional literacy to prevent dropout.
