'The Story of my Life' by Wijdane and Anne from France, participants in a trinational Peace project with partners in Turkey and Germany on the European etwinning platform.

Jacques (37) married with three children talks about the story of his life. His parents in Togo are very religious and hate white people and tell him to hate them too. At 18, he goes to study in Europe for a better future but he isn´t allowed to fall in love with a white girl. After a few months in Europe he falls in love with a girl. They want to get married but his parents don’t give their consent. They want to marry him to a black girl. So he wants to show them his girl and her parents to make them change their mind. The story “Jean-Pierre doesn’t have friends” was written by Alexandre from France.                                                           

Jean-Pierre (12) lives in Ittenheim (France). He has a very big problem because he doesn’t have friends and he is alone since his parents died in a car crash. He plants a tree. Whenever he has a problem he goes to a mountain and speaks to this tree. Today the tree and the problems of Jean-Pierre have grown very large. 

One day, Jean-Pierre sees a pretty girl. He falls in love immediately. Her name is Fabienne. She introduces Jean-Pierre to her family, who is very happy for her. Five years later, Fabienne and Jean-Pierre get married, have two children, a girl and a boy. Jean-Pierre lives a happy life now, after all.        (by Oguzhan from Germany)
