The project focuses on raising awareness towards the bullying phenomenon within schools and also towards cyber-bullying on online environment. School staff, parents and teachers will be involved in activities which will inform them about the bullying phenomenon, how to deal with bullying cases and bullies, how to find solutions to peer bullying problem, and cyber-bullying phenomena, the dangers of disclosing personal information, how to implement an internet safety program in school, The overall goal of the project is to fight bullying in schools and encourage a culture of well- being that will finally contribute to a diminished school drop-out rate. Also, we want a safe environment for educational purposes, by identifying, reducing violent behaviour, management of conflict, as well as the involvement of adults, school staff and parents, by establishing new rules regarding the deviant behaviour, applying sanctions and offering positive behavioural examples.
