It has always been a matter of wonder that human beings have the same origin but speak different languages. In this project, students search for the common words in world-languages. They practice, exhibit the spelling and pronunciation of these words they found in different languages by using web 2.0 tools. Students look for answers to the questions of how many languages the common word exist in and which languages they are, the origin of these common words. They try to reveal in which social areas the common words exist. These common magic words used in different languages can take us to a journey through different cultures . Thus, the students will have the opportunity to make intercultural comparisons and interaction during the pandemic lockdown.
