With the separation of generations, increasing emigration, modernization of the world, the transfer of traditions in the families becomes weaker. It is important to develop children’s national consciousness, their cultural and historical memory so they would take over traditional, ethic and aesthetic values. The participants of the project will expand their knowledge about traditions and customs of calendar holidays in the country. Referring to collected information they will prepare a calendar of traditional holidays. In addition, they will get acquainted with traditions and customs of other countries.
