    Dear  Anezka.

I'm sorry it took a while for me to send this to you, but I was ill with a flue. But now I'm better.   Hope it's okey!

My name is Ida and I'm 14 years old. I live with my mum, dad and my two brothers Gabriel and Simon, and my sister Alice.
Simon is 16 years old, Gabriel is 11 years old and my sister Alice is 6 years old. I'm not doing so much on my spare time. I don't go in a sport or something like that but i play cello and piano, I think that's really fun. I like to hang out with my friends and family. I like to ski and I love to ride snow mobile.
My dad is an musician an my mum works as a teacher at the elementary school.

My school is not that big, it goes around 300 pupils there. We start the day 8 o'clock and going home at 3 o'clock most of the days. We get IPads to work whit, and we get free lunches, the most food is not good doe. Our school is very cold, especially on the winters. I always wear knitted socks. But besides of that I really like our school. My favorite subjects is Swedish, English and music.

Yesterday me and my family baked gingerbread and they were really good. Today we're going to celebrate "Lucia" I don't know if you know what that is because it's a very Swedish tradition. It's when you go on a lede whit candles and long white dresses and singing Christmas songs for people.

    What about you?

Do you have some special traditions around Christmas?

Can you tell me more about your school, do you have free lunches? And how long is your school days?

Are you going to do something special on the Christmas vacation?

    Do you have Instagram?

What do you want to do in the future?

    Dear Ida,

You haven't replied to my email yet so I hope you are not ill with the flue like my dad.He is at home in bed drinkikg lots of tea now. Normally he would by at work doing service on a farm machine.

    Mum is an English teacher.

Welive in a little village called Brezuvky -only 600 in habitants-surrounding by hills and forrests. Zlin is bigger and only 10 minutes away by car.

there is a super zoo with stingrays that you can feed and pat. Or we can go to the congress centre to a concert. Tourists also like the nearby spa town Luhacovice.

Dad and my Brother go to hockey. Two years ago the Zlin hockey team won the Czech championchip.

Yesterday we baked and decorated christmas gingerbreads with mum.

Next weekend we will bake some more biscuits but not many because mum is from Australia and this is a Czech tradition.

Czech people have carp and potato salad for chrismas diner. We also have fish soup but our family has salmon and potatos because we don't like carp.

"Jezisek "(little jesus) brings our presents and we open them after diner on the 24.december.

    Best Regards

    Anezka
