Our project arises from a real need in the classroom: collecting information about the possibilities offered by each subject in the future job market. Students often ask themselves: What is maths good for? Why do I study art if I don't want to be an artist? Why do I study chemistry if I don't have a laboratory at home?.. Teachers of different disciplines have all heard before: Teacher, what is your subject for? Through this project we will answer this recurring question and many others. We will investigate how our subjects affect and help other fields and our integral formation as human beings. In addition, we will approach the way in which our ancestors made a living from each of these disciplines, and we will conclude by carrying out a study about job opportunities that each one of them offers us.
