Digitalisation and automation will transform a large number of professions and industries in the years to come. The new technologies offer both advantages and disadvantages. As some professions will benefit greatly, others may disappear. Nonetheless it is important for VET-institutions to keep up with the developments that new technologies offer and train pupils with relevant skills for further education, training or employment.
