Virtual Museum of Famous British People

How to turn an ordinary English classroom into a big, virtual, fun museum? The aim of this project is to do that; to create a visually beautiful, creative and interactive classroom filled with information and stimulating activities for the students who stay in it. Students will recycle the old chair backs from their classrooms; each chair will become an interactive exhibit with the information about one famous person from the English history, culture or politics. After being upcycled (painted and decorated), each chair will be marked with a QR code with the information about that person (biography/videos/fun facts). Students will also create activities such as quizzes or different kinds of worksheets (using various web tools) based on the infographics their partners created. The activities will be shared among twinpartners and saved for the future generations of students in our schools. This project enables the participation of different structures of students, from those who are interested in the improvement of their communication skills to those who are more into the use of ICT or recycling and handcraft. The estimated duration of the project is from November 2020 to May 2021.
