BreakingNews@School is part of an Erasmus + KA229 project and is aimed at setting up a school news platform to work on media literacy. It involves 6 different secondary schools (Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Sweden). Online (social) media are an important part of students' lives but they lack media literacy skills, knowledge on how to safely use the Internet and social media. Our students will create an international network and benefit from the advantages of an intercultural experience. They will be more equipped to find their way in the jungle that is social media.
