The project idea was born in the context of the nowadays Europe, which is confronted with an increasing number of xenophobic acts but also in the particular context of our schools which each identified a compulsory need to engage in such a project due to an increased number of students with different personal situations such as different cultural and religious backgrounds (i.e.the migrant families), special health needs, different social status (i.e. the Roma minority), economic difficulties which expose them to the risk of early school leaving, familial difficulties (i.e.one or both parents working abroad and leaving their children behind. All these particular situations, make the students face specific problems caused by prejudices and xenophobia. As a consequence, they have to struggle to adapt and to be accepted.
