The polar regions are unique for their characteristics and biodiversity. In addition to these specificities, they are of extreme importance when we study climate change. It is in the polar regions that the quickest effects of climate change are felt and this gives us clues on how to act in order to reduce the impact of climate change on other areas of our planet. This project seeks to lead students to identify problems resulting from climate change, find ways to minimize them based on science and promote awareness of their impacts, stimulating curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. The proposed activities will be developed based on the principle of a strong connection between the polar regions and the rest of the planet, using web 2.0 tools to develop collaborative work among students. An e-book will be the final product.
