    My favourite proverb is '' All that glitters is not gold'' because 

    things do not always have the value that they appear to!! What is golden outside isn’t always golden inside.

    When the cat is away, the mice will play      .... I like this proverb   ........ beucase it's so cute .

    ‘Ο κλέφτης και ο ψεύτης τον πρώτο χρόνο χαίρονται’: 

    The thief and the liar are happy only for a short period of time. I like this proverb because thieves and liars may be  happy in the beginning but they get devastated when everybody learns the truth.

    "Κακό σκυλί ψόφο δεν έχει"

    kako skyli psofo den exei.

    it means that the 'bad dog'(a bad person) never dies !!!
