This project is focused on our 7 to11-year-old students. Our main aim is to draw our schools into an internationalization project so as to make our students aware of the surrounding socio-cultural context beyond our own towns and nations. This project wants to help students develop the ability to define and solve problems with reason, insight and inventiveness, thus promoting an inquiry-based teaching-learning classroom environment.Mathematical ideas will be identified and embedded in a set of tasks that will allow students to look at maths from different perspectives in a motivating and encouraging way strictly connected with real life.
