How is Cultural Heritage (both tangible and intangible) passed on from generation to generation in our countries?

This project will involve teenagers from several European countries (Portugal/Poland/Turkey) + one French International School in Mexico. The students will get to know about the other countries’ Cultural Heritage and how it is passed on from generation to generation. That will be achieved virtually through a variety of Internet tools. This project will be carried out along one school year. The first months of the school year will be dedicated to learning about each other’s Cultural Heritage virtually and then in 2021 we will focus more on how that Cultural Heritage is passed on from generation to generation. During this project, we will focus on topics such as artifacts, cultural monuments and buildings, archeological sites, traditions, oral history, performing arts, traditional craftsmanship… We will therefore share and learn about the culture, the traditions and customs of the partners. We will also be dealing with heritage and identity in very diverse countries, seeing how some citizens may question their cultural identity. Eventually, we will wonder how emigrants connect to their Cultural Heritage.
