On March 21, the pupils of the Greek school participated in an international experiment, THE EXPERIMENT OF ERATOSTHENES. Our aim was to measure the shadow of the Sun. We started the experiment at around 12:15 and finished at 12:50. We took various measurements of the shadow of the Sun. The conclusion was that the later the time was the longer the shadow. That was because the Sun was moving farther from the point of measurement.
