  •

Dear partners, this is the detailed agenda of the project tasks

    JULY-AUGUST

    1) Read  our TwinSpace rules in the Genially presentation on page 1.5: these rules are really important for the success of the project

    2) Write your address on page 2.1  "Our e-mail addresses"

    3) Add a marker for your school on page 2.2 " Our schools on the map of Europe" (see the tutorial on the page)

    3) Go to page 2.3 "Our partners". Click on "Go to discussion" at the bottom of the page. Write a brief presentation of yourself

    4) On page 3.1 "Organizing the project together" you can find the link to a Google document.

In the document you are asked to write your name, school address, the number and age of your students. If you know a tool which can be suitable for a task of the project, you can write it in the section "Our web tools". As the project goes on, you will upload the links of the tools you use with your students

    5) Send a message to the Whatsapp +39 345 85 18 677 (Monica) or +90 530 363 68 16 (Serap) to join the project group, or use this link: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GxYDSW2YDiAGshTBfVuxYP

We will use the group to communicate quickly. You are asked to join it

    6) If you want, you can join the Facebook group using the link:

    SEPTEMBER

    1) The project is presented to the students

    2) Students are taught the TwinSpace netiquette and the e-safety rules: they can play the Kahoot games on page 4 and watch the video on page 1.5

    3) School and students' presentation: students can write texts, make videos or create avatars in order to introduce themselves in the Twinboard on page 2.4

    4) Students are invited as members of the TwinSpace: we can invite them as a class or we can create an account for each student

    5) Students take the pre-survey on the page " PRE- SURVEY AND EVALUATION":

    Pre-survey for pupils

    OCTOBER

    1) We will create a common game by using Quizziz. We will work in transnational teams.

First of all, each school will write a short text presenting their own country. When the text is ready, click on "Go to the discussion" at the bottom of page 6 and add it to the Forum.

Secondly, choose two of your students. Then write your name, school, country, and the students' names in the table on page 6.

Your students will write 2 questions about the country of the school that is working in your same team.

Add the questions to the Quizziz game using these credentials:

    Username: etwinningnews@gmail.com

    Password: monicaserap

    2) We will vote the logo for our  project on page 5.

Our pupils should draw it (it would be the best option). Alternatively you and your students can use Wordart, Makebadges or another tool you prefer.

We will upload our logo suggestions ( as many logos as we like) from October 5th  to October 31st.

We and our students together will vote our two favourite logos from November 1st to November 15th.

We do not vote for our own work.

Only teachers members of our project are allowed to vote.

    3) We will create a collaborative e-book with Ourboox

Each school will complete two pages: a page with a short description in English about a newspaper of our town or country.

On the second page we will upload a video of the meeting with a journalist of our town. The meeting can be in presence or online. It is not important if the journalist is famous or not. The journalist can speak about his/her interesting job. Students can make questions in their own language.  We take photos of the meeting and we make the video. The meeting with a journalist can be done in November, too.

    NOVEMBER-APRIL

We will use Madmagz to create our online magazine.

The themes of the articles are free, related to our town or country.

We will comply with the task working in transnational teams.

School A and school B work in pairs.

Both schools write the first article (for November-December issue) on their own. Then each school writes 1 article every two months (in January and in March) and it uploads it on Madmagz (page 8.1).

Then, in December, after uploading the December article, School A reads the articles written by School B and the reverse.

Students write questions about the partner's article. The partner school will write their answers. This activity is called  "INTERVIEW THE REPORTER".

We will upload the short interview into a padlet on the subpages.

At the end, each school will have done three interviews (in December,  February,  April).

We will create 3 issues of the online magazine (3 e-books): one for November-December, one for January-February,  one for March-April.

Please,  write your name and school in your article.

Each article is 1 page long.

In January-February we will create a Domino game.

    It is a common task:

    - we will use Google Slides

    - two students per school will collaborate to create the game

    - these two students will upload a slide with a word related to journalism. The first letter of the word must be the last letter of the previous word, that was uploaded by a partner school

    - the following school will upload the image of this word (a drawing or a photo)

Read the instructions on page 10.

    MAY 1st to MAY 15th

We will collaborate to create famous journalist biographies and a game using learningapps.org.

    Steps :

    a) Select a famous journalist - reporter of your country

    b) Write a short biography and add it in the following twinboard

    c) Write 1 multiple choice question  based on a partner's journalist (here)

    d) Finally we will create a game based on these questions using learningapps.org

MAY 1st to MAY 31 st

    1) We will choose three best articles,  one for each issue of the online magazine.

    2) We will translate three articles of the partners that we interviewed on padlet.

We will publish the three articles ìn the newspaper in our local newspaper.

    3) Students will read aloud the  three articles of our partners in our own language.

    4) We will make a video of this reading and we will collect the videos in an ebook.

    5) We will collect in a Wakelet the photos of the newspaper pages with our articles.
