The story of a water drop

If a drop of water could speak - what kind of story would it tell us? The idea of this project is to allow different students from different age groups to share their knowledge about water, and what water means to the different peoples of Europe. For this, students are going to interview people in their families and communities about what water means to them. What is more, students then are going to write a script for a stop motion movie, which follows a drop of water in its endless circle of life. It is drunken by people, used for cooking or growing vegetables. It is enriched with chlorine to become a part of a swimming pool. It is something people fight for in areas with severe droughts. A script will take shape which features ideas from all over Europe. Students will then create a movie from this script, using stop motion techniques.
