eTwinning Kabaka

A few European schools from Guadeloupe, France, Lithuania, Ireland, and Spain, interested in cultural exchange, tolerance and understanding between people all over the world, meet a school in Uganda as a special guest in this project. Kabaka is the word for king in Luganda, the local language spoken by our Ugandan partner school. Our pupils, organized in international teams will work together to overcome some challenges and get totems from Baganda, or Baganda Kabala, the Ugandan region where our partner school is located. The first team to fulfill all tasks and get 5 totems, with different meanings, will be the Kabaka or king in this project. Communication between teachers is essential as we have to adapt to each school´s availability of equipment and Internet access for children and also their age. Each team of pupils will have mixed nationalities and ages, as well as an international teacher or mentor who will help them fulfill their tasks.
