The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) provides a method of learning, teaching and assessing which applies to all languages in Europe. Extensive reading helps to stimulate students’ reading skills and increases their cross-curricular knowledge in a challenging way. Moreover, this practice provides cultural information, vocabulary and enables us to explore a wide range of topics through English. Classic novels in English literature are a tour around the world and the beginning of an adventure. Students will have the opportunity to know the country-(ies)/city(ies) where the novel takes place Our purpose is to create learning opportunities through collaborative work among and between colleagues of different subjects and learners at different levels in and out of the classroom through the critical and safe use of ICt tools.
