This is a project created to make our students aware of the art they can see on the walls of their cities and how this free artistic expression can change the quality of the urban environment. The students will work in groups, nationally and transnationally, on the topic of writing and muralism using English for communication. The expected final product is a Website or Blog for a virtual art gallery of street art from their cities, and a map showing the selected artworks in their actual locations. While working on the construction of the art gallery, the students will acquire deeper knowledge of street art and images in general, they will develop better cultural and intercultural awareness with special reference to artistic expression, and they will reflect on the very quality of their urban environment and the art they can find there.
