The project is addressed to teenage students (ages 12-18) aiming to develop a platform that will allow transferability of knowledge between communities about traditional dance which it remains an integral part of the educational and cultural life in Europe. More specifically this project promotes the use of new technologies in dance education and in particular the use of interactive multimedia technologies for representing information about traditional dances. To this end Web Dance aims to develop a platform that can used both as a web-resource for teachers and students who are taken part in this project.
