Aulas sin fronteras/Classrooms without Limits AFCL

The Project proposes contribute to the improvement of the quality of the education and to support the innovation giving support in the development of an intercultural approach. One aspires to promote is the reflection concerning the cultural diversity of the students and his/her communities of reference and to provide practical instruments. The project centres on the development, application and validation of a guide who facilitates the analysis of needs and the improvement of the school practices from an intercultural perspective, besides a work of comparison between the cultural aspect and pedagogic among the schools of the Mediterranean basin and those from northern Europe. The intercultural education is defined as an educational approach that goes to each and every members of the educational community and of the society. One does not orientate to realize specific actions with specific groups.Its aim is the change of the school and of the ordinary curriculum so that there is achieved a real equality of educational opportunities for all the students, independently of his/her cultural differences and wherefrom hey liven.All this is in order of thinking about the future European citizens. The school success is defined in terms to achieve academic valuable aims, so much as for the development of competences and skills for the life as the acquisition of communicative competences in multicultural contexts The Projectis is developed in three stages: 1) Description of the students' cultural diversity and its communities, analysis of educational practices of attention to the cultural diversity, ejemplificación of the intercultural approach in education; 2) Preparation and elaboration of a Guide - model on different pedagogic offers; 3) Application - pilot of the guide in the groups of pupils participants ( from presencial education to virtual distance - meetings among) teachers and pupils partners-) The final product will consist of a systematic guide who will be able to be used, for the participants of the project, for other neighboring schools and other schools of Etwinning community to help them to develop and adopt an intercultural approach in school diverse contexts.
