The knowledge of the world of work is becoming an important objective in Europe since it allows students to define and prepare their place with a well developed awareness of opportunities and constraints. Schools provide information about career paths but sometimes our students do not have a real perspective of the labour market. This cross-curricular project is aimed at knowing and comparing different professions in European countries, providing skills and knowledge in order to bridge the gap between the world of education and work, thus facilitating the entry to the labour market. We focus on using ICT, English as a foreign language, collaborative work and key competences. In addition, teachers will provide and learn strategies to facilitate the development of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). The main expected result is a webpage with the final works and materials (images, video, webmix, reports, links, etc.) related to the chosen profession.
